Three Minor Premierships in 2010

2010 is yet again another green year.

The Greens have taken out three minor premierships in 2010 (Premier 1, Premier 2 and B grade) with all grades finishing withing the top 3 and making it through to the semi finals. Merewether Carlton has also won the Premier Division club championship, nearly 300 points clear of Maitland and Hamilton.

Ladies make it to back to back Grand Finals

Hoping to go one better this year the Merewether Carlton ladies team have advanced to the Hunter Women’s Grand Final this Sat 14 August at Passmore's Oval (kickoff 4.30).

Bowls day 2010 wrap-up

Despite a poor turnout, the 2010 greens bowls day went ahead as usual. A great day for bowling saw the likes of some Kings Cross detectives, a group of ninjas, some Swedish Backpackers, men in zen suits, the Masterchef judges and some other odd characters such as Osama Bin Laden and Eddy Mac as a shuttlecock?
