Greens in Argentina - Part 9

Our last day in Argentina - whilst most of us will be pleased to get home, all of us will be saddened to leave Buenos Aires. It's a great city and we've had a great tour.

Wednesday's a rugby day (or evening to be correct).

Today we visited an Argentinian Gaucho Ranch about an hours drive north of Buenos Aires. Approximately half of the tour group managed to meet the 10.00am departure deadline, the majority of those were from the front of the bus. It was no surprise that most of the 'Adventure Islanders' failed to make the kick-off and spent the day shopping at Florida Avenue or at Palermo Soho.

Monday and the celebrations from yesterday's win in the Plate Final at the tandil Sevens hadn't taken too much of a toll with players and the support crew reporting on schedule for the bus pick-up.

Greens in Argentina - Part 3

The day opened under cloudless skies and sunshine all the way - apart from a brief thunderstorm on the afternoon of our arrival into Tandil a couple of days ago we have been blessed with the weather. Cooler today which should help with making it a great rugby day.

Day one - left Sydney on schedule aboard our flight to Buenos Aires. Knew we were in for an interesting flight when as soon as my back hit the seat it went into instant recline - so much for having your seat locked in the upright position for take off.
