Greens and Hawks unite to 'Punt Prostate Cancer'

 The Merewether Carlton Rugby Club and the Hamilton Rugby Club will temporarily put their rivalries aside to join forces in a 'Punt Prostate Cancer' firndraiser in conjunction with their much anticipated Townson Oval rugby union blockbuster next Saturday (30ft July, 2011).

Les Lovell kicking off 80th Anniversary

The Merewether Carlton Rugby Club will formally celebrate its 80th Anniversary on Saturday 21st August 2010.

At 91 years of age, Mr Les Lovell is one of our club’s oldest members and he has accepted an invitation to kick-off the Premier 1 match between the Greens and Lake Macquarie at 3.00pm on Saturday at Townson Oval.
