It has been a few years in sporting wilderness for the oldest debutant in history but after seeing the great accolades that his younger brother had achieved at MCRC it was decided upon that the rugby arena was to be challenged and conquered in what many have whispered may be a mid-life crisis.

The bustling back rower started his MCRC career in the dizzy heights of the 4th grade bench in 2006. With comments like " I will be happy with 10 minutes on the field" it was no surprise that he started the year getting 10 minutes on the field. But like a true champion the 'Golden Oldie' rose to the occasion of what was a fast, furious and competitive year of rugby and sealed several full games to achieve what his younger brother never could. Could 2007 prove to be the year of the 'Golden Oldie' with a 3rd grade game already in the bag? All I can say is’ watch this space'.
